Privacy Policy
Last updated November 3, 2026
BivBook is a personal app used only by its owner, John Bivens. This policy explains how it handles Google account data.
Google data BivBook accesses
- Basic account details: the email address of each signed-in Google account, to show which account is connected.
- Google Calendar: calendars and events, to show meetings inside the app. BivBook doesn't change calendar events.
- Gmail send permission: used only to send messages the owner has set up from his own account. BivBook doesn't read his inbox.
- Google Drive app folder: a private folder for BivBook's own data, used to sync to-dos between his devices. BivBook can't see his other Drive files.
How the data is stored
Sign-in tokens are kept in the Apple Keychain on the owner's own devices. To-do data is kept in the app and in BivBook's private Google Drive app folder. BivBook has no servers of its own that collect Google user data.
Sharing
BivBook doesn't sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties. The exceptions are messages the owner chooses to send, and the work items he chooses to assign to his team. Those go through the services he uses for that work, such as Google and Fellow.
Google API Services User Data Policy
BivBook's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access and data
Access can be removed at any time by signing out in BivBook or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the app removes its data from the device. BivBook's Drive app data can be deleted from Google Drive's app settings.
